Abstract
(Abstracted from Hum Reprod 2021;36:1268–1278) Approximately 10% of reproductive-aged women are affected by endometriosis, a condition in which endometrial-like tissue is found outside of the uterus causing severe pain and infertility. Diagnosis requires surgical visualization resulting in many studies relying on medical record abstraction or insurance claim information for diagnosis.
