Abstract
The article represents the results of intra-abdominal administration of recombinant human interleukine-2 (roncoleukine) to 20 rat models (Wistar line rats) of endometriosis. The treatment efficacy criteria applied were: presence of ectopic endometrium in cornu uterus' transplantation sites, endometrioid cells proliferative activity, vascularization and leucocytic infiltration features in endometriosis focuses. The author points out that local application of roncoleukine causes regress in endometrioid heterotopia in 60 of models. Even if endometrioid epithelium remained present, its proliferative activity was significantly lowered under roncoleukine impact. In all transplantants from rats treated with roncoleukine there were observed reduced vascularization degrees and intensified leucocytic infiltration (due to lymphocytes) concurrent with decreased macrophages portion in leucocytic infiltration formula.
