The study assessed the extent of awareness and knowledge about endometriosis among Libyan women using a one-year cross-sectional design (2021–2022) with questionnaires and interviews. Participants were predominantly aged 16–25 years and had university education, and responses to knowledge questions most often were “I don’t know” and “No,” indicating limited information about endometriosis. Although a sizable proportion reported suffering from endometriosis (75.5%), many participants still lacked knowledge (21.2% “I don’t know”), and the paper found no statistically significant correlation between education level and endometriosis knowledge (p > 0.05). This paper is centrally about endometriosis — it examines Libyan women’s awareness and knowledge of the condition.
