DNA methylation of P2X3 receptor gene encoded pain marker protein in endometriosis
This study found that the P2X3 receptor gene promoter was 100% unmethylated in both endometriosis and control tissues, with no significant differences between groups, despite increased P2X3 receptor expression in endometriosis patients.
