Abstract
(Abstracted from Eur J Obstet Gynecol Reprod Biol 2024:302:104–110 Endometrial thickening without vaginal bleeding is frequently considered an indication for referral for pathological evaluation, though gynecologists debate whether this is necessary in women who are asymptomatic and postmenopausal. Current guidelines suggest biopsy when endometrial thickness reaches more than 4–5 mm and individuals experience postmenopausal bleeding, even though up to 15% of endometrial cancer cases occur in individuals without postmenopausal bleeding.
