EXPRESSION OF ER AND PR IN ECTOPIC AND EUTOPIC ENDOMETRIUM IN ENDOMETRIOSIS

Objective To detect the expression of ER,PR in ectopic and eutopic endometrium in endometriosis.Me-thods The expression of ER and PR in ectopic endometrium(n=84)and eutopic endometrium(n=44)in endometriosis as well as normal endometrium(n=32)were detected by PV-9000 of immunohistochemistry.Results The expression of ER and PR and ER/PR ratio in ectopic endometrium were significantly lower than that in eutopic and normal endometrium(P0.05).The expression of ER and PR and ER/PR ratio in eutopic endometriums were significantly higher in normal endometrium(P0.05).Conclusion The abnormal expression of ER,PR and ER/PR in ectopic and eutopic endometrium of endometriosis could be relevant to the development and progress of endometriosis.
