This study evaluated the reliability and validity of the Persian-language version of the disease-specific Endometriosis Health Profile (EHP-30) in 100 women aged 20–50 with surgically confirmed endometriosis recruited from three gynecology clinics in Tehran, Iran. Participants completed the EHP-30, and the investigators assessed internal consistency (Cronbach’s alpha), construct validity against the already-validated SF-36 short form, factor structure via factor analysis, and item–total correlations. The Persian EHP-30 showed high internal reliability (Cronbach’s alpha about 0.80–0.93 for core and 0.78–0.90 for modular parts), with most items loading on expected factors except items 17 and 18, and several domains demonstrating good correlations with SF-36. This paper is centrally about endometriosis — specifically, it validates the Persian EHP-30 questionnaire for assessing health-related quality of life in women with endometriosis.
