Diagnóstico diferencial: Tumor neuroendócrino de apêndice e endometriose, um relato de caso

Abstract

Os tumores neuroendócrinos do apêndice são neoplasias raras, frequentemente diagnosticadas de forma incidental, enquanto a endometriose profunda é condição comum em mulheres jovens. Relata-se o caso de paciente de 24 anos, com endometriose em acompanhamento, que apresentou achado nodular atípico em exame de imagem. Foi submetida à videolaparoscopia com apendicectomia alargada, cujo exame anatomopatológico revelou tumor neuroendócrino bem diferenciado do apêndice, grau G2 (Ki-67 entre 5% e 8%), estadiamento pT3, com margens livres. Exames complementares não evidenciaram metástases, sendo instituído seguimento clínico multidisciplinar. O caso ressalta a importância do diagnóstico diferencial entre endometriose apendicular e tumor neuroendócrino, bem como o papel fundamental da análise histopatológica para definição terapêutica adequada.
