Abstract

Endometriose ist eine facettenreiche Erkrankung an der weltweit ungefähr 176 Mio. Frauen leiden. Die Erkrankung definiert sich durch das Vorhandensein und Proliferieren von endometriumartigem Gewebe ausserhalb Cavum uteri, wobei die Ätiopathogenese und Pathophysiologie bislang nicht vollständig geklärt sind (1, 2). Die Endometriose verursachten Kosten sind erheblich. In einer neuen werden die direkten (Untersuchungen, Operationen Medikamente) und indirekten Ausgaben (Produktivitätsverlust Arbeitsplatz) mit zirka 9500 Euro/Patientin/Jahr beziffert. Für die Schweiz umgerechnet bedeutet dies Gesundheitskosten von 1,3 Milliarden Euro (3). Der folgende einen kurzen Überblick zur Prävalenz, Diagnostik dieser rätselhaften Erkrankung geben.

Please note that Anubis requires the use of modern JavaScript features that plugins like JShelter will disable. Please disable JShelter or other such plugins for this domain.
