This cross-sectional prevalence study evaluated sexual dysfunctions in 137 sexually active women older than 18 years with histologically confirmed endometriosis attending three high-complexity clinics in Armenia, Colombia (2017–2022), using the Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI) and collecting sociodemographic, sexual behavior, and endometriosis symptom data. Sexual dysfunctions were reported in 75.91% of participants, with pain/dyspareunia as the most prevalent domain (75.91%), followed by decreased sexual desire (56.93%) and lubrication problems (54.01%); median number of dysfunctions was 3 (range 1–6). The average FSFI score was 20.82 ± 7.22, with 24.08% scoring ≥ 26.55 as a cutoff related to sexual dysfunction risk/adequacy. The main limitation is that the study is cross-sectional and draws from clinic-attending women with specific inclusion/exclusion criteria and incomplete details visible in the provided text, limiting causal inference and generalizability beyond this setting. This paper is centrally about endometriosis — it quantifies the prevalence and domain pattern of sexual dysfunctions in women with endometriosis.
