Correction: Macrophages originated IL-33/ST2 inhibits ferroptosis in endometriosis via the ATF3/SLC7A11 axis

This corrigendum reports errors in a previously published Cell Death and Disease study on macrophage-derived IL-33/ST2 signaling and ferroptosis in endometriosis, specifically an image-labeling mix-up in Western blot bands (p-p38 mistakenly labeled as JNK) and a discrepancy between gel images and the quantitative statistics in Figure 6B. The authors state they corrected the mislabeled band by substituting the appropriate JNK band images and recalculated grayscale values from the original gels to update the statistical analysis and figure. They further clarify that recombinant IL-33 (rIL-33) suppressed phosphorylation of both P38 MAPK and JNK, with Western blot results showing downregulation of p-JNK/total JNK and p-p38/total p38 ratios in eESCs, and they explicitly state the corrections do not alter the study’s results or conclusions.
