Abstract

Objective:To investigate the expression and clinical significance of MMP-2,MMP-9 and RECK in endometriosis. Methods:The expression of MMP-2,MMP-9 and RECK in the ectopic endometrium from 48 patients with endometriosis and the eutopic endometrium from 31 patients without endometriosis were detected. Results:The positive expression rates of MMP-2,MMP-9 and RECK were 89.6%,79.2% and 43.8% in the ectopic endometrium, while the rates were 35.5%,19.4%,87.1% in the eutopic endometrium, there was significantly difference between ectopic endometrium and eutopic endometrium(P0.05);the expression of RECK was negatively related to MMP-2,MMP-9(γ=-0.468,γ=-0.320,P0.05);the expression of RECK expression had no correlation with clinical stages(P0.05).Conclusion:The imbalanced expression of MMP-2/RECK,MMP-2 and RECK may play an important role in the course of the occurrence and development in endometriosis.
