Expression of intermediate filament in endometrial glands changes with the onset of pregnancy and in endometriosis
This study found that cytokeratin and vimentin expression in endometrial glands changes with pregnancy onset, with vimentin disappearing after pregnancy, suggesting a role in decidualization, and that ectopic endometrium shows similar expression patterns.
