Expression of Livin and Smac protein in endometrium of endometriosis patients

Aim:To investigate the expression of Livin and Smac in the endometriosis and the correlationship between them.Methods:The expression levels of Livin and Smac protein in ectopic endometrium(group A),eutopic endometrium(group B) and normal endometrium(group C)(n=30)were detected by SP method.Results:①The expression of Livin in Group A,B and C were(142.55±36.27),(141.69±26.61),(113.26±10.22),the expression of Smac in the 3 groups were(114.76±10.68),(112.41±8.84),(143.73±10.83),and there were differences among 3 groups(F=16.465 and 14.708,P0.05).②In Group A and B,the expression of Livin and Smac were negative related(r=-0.552 and-0.397,P0.001).③The expression of Smac in Group A between the proliferative phase and the secretory phase were(118.23±24.69),(124.07±21.31),and there was no significant difference(t= 0.645,P=0.510),in Group C were(150.93±3.04),(159.18±13.20),and there was significant difference(t=1.982,P=0.043).The expression of Livin during the proliferative phase in Group A and C were(141.63±36.69,112.01±8.93),and during the secretory phase were(143.75±37.16,115.13±12.07)(t=0.178 and 0.794,P0.05).Conclusion:Livin and Smac may play an important role in the pathogenisis of endometriosis.
