Abstract
The article contains modern data on immune system components role in forming of endometriosis. Immunocompetent cells and some cytokines takepart in mechanisms of endometrioid cells implantation following endometrioid nidus formation. Cytokines disbalance and activation of angiogenesis create favourable conditions for disease progression. Keywords: endometriosis, cytokines, growth factors, macrophages.
