Abstract

A endometriose é uma enfermidade inflamatória crônica, sensível às variações hormonais, que acomete mulheres durante a fase reprodutiva, caracterizada pela presença de tecido semelhante ao endométrio localizado fora do útero, acometendo cerca de 10% das mulheres em idade fértil sendo uma das principais responsáveis por dores pélvicas persistentes, dispareunia, dismenorreia e problemas relacionados à fertilidade, sua origem é multifatorial, englobando aspectos genéticos, imunológicos, hormonais e ambientais. Material e métodos: Foi conduzido um levantamento de estudos nas bases de dados da Scielo, Google Acadêmico, Pubmed, Lilacs, publicados entre os anos de 2020 a 2025, capturando 8 artigos que preencheram todos os critérios de inclusão. Resultados: Dos 8 estudos analisados, 2 artigos avaliaram que o consumo de cálcio proveniente de laticínios na adolescência na prevenção de surgimento da endometriose. 1 artigo avaliou a relação entre níveis séricos de carotenoides e o risco de endometriose. 2 artigos avaliaram modificações alimentares como retirada de glúten, leite e soja e a inclusão de vegetais e dieta com Low FODMAP e dieta para endometriose auxiliam na redução da dor e sintomas da endometriose. 3 artigos avaliaram a utilização e suplementos com efeito anti-inflamatório. Conclusões: O resultado da presente pesquisa, demonstrou que o consumo adequado de laticínios fontes de cálcio, está associado a menor risco de desenvolvimento da endometriose, principalmente quando introduzido desde a adolescência. A alimentação rica em carotenoides pode ser uma estratégia preventiva, embora sejam necessários mais estudos que comprovem seu mecanismo de ação e eficácia. As intervenções dietéticas como dietas anti-inflamatórias, Low FODMAP ou com exclusão de glúten, laticínios e soja, podem reduzir a dor pélvica, além de contribuir na melhora dos sintomas e na qualidade de vida. A suplementação com ômega-3 e vitaminas C e E, também mostrou resultados positivos na diminuição da inflamação e do estresse oxidativo, indicando benefícios no tratamento complementar.

It is characterized by the presence of tissue similar to the endometrium located outside the uterus, affecting approximately 10% of women of childbearing age. It is one of the main causes of persistent pelvic pain, dyspareunia, dysmenorrhea, and fertility-related problems. Its origin is multifactorial, encompassing genetic, immunological, hormonal, and environmental aspects. Materials and methods: A survey of studies published between 2020 and 2025 was conducted in the Scielo, Google Scholar, Pubmed, and Lilacs databases, capturing 8 articles that met all inclusion criteria. Results: Of the 8 studies analyzed, 2 articles evaluated the role of calcium consumption from dairy products during adolescence in preventing the onset of endometriosis. 1 article evaluated the relationship between serum carotenoid levels and the risk of endometriosis. 2 articles evaluated dietary modifications such as the removal of gluten, milk, and soy, and the inclusion of vegetables and a Low FODMAP diet, as well as a diet for endometriosis, in reducing pain and symptoms of endometriosis. 3 articles evaluated the use of supplements with anti-inflammatory effects. Conclusions: The results of this research demonstrated that adequate consumption of dairy products rich in calcium is associated with a lower risk of developing endometriosis, especially when introduced during adolescence. A diet rich in carotenoids may be a preventive strategy, although further studies are needed to confirm its mechanism of action and efficacy. Dietary interventions such as anti-inflammatory diets, low-FODMAP diets, or diets excluding gluten, dairy, and soy can reduce pelvic pain, as well as contribute to the improvement of symptoms and quality of life. Supplementation with omega-3 and vitamins C and E also showed positive results in reducing inflammation and oxidative stress, indicating benefits in complementary treatment.
