Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of nursing interventions on the social support status and quality of life in patients undergoing hysterectomy. Methods 160 patients scheduled for hysterectomy were randomly divided into the control and the observation group each with 80 cases.Patients in the control group received routine therapy and nursing care, while those in the observation group received systemic nursing interventions additionally. Results After intervention, the scores of all the dimensions of the SSRS were markedly higher in the observation group than those in the control group, and the scores of all the dimensions of the NHP were much lower, with statistically significant differences, all with P0.01.Conclusion Systemic nursing intervention can help improve the social support status and raise the quality of life in patients undergoing hysterectomy.
