Abstract
ObjectiveTo observe the effect of Yitongping decoction on dysmenorrhea in patients with adenomyosis.Methods35 dysmenorrhea cases with adenomyosis were treated with Yitongping decoction orally. Dysmenorrhea scores, uterus size showed by B ultrasound and blood serum CA 125 before and after treatment were compared.ResultsAfter treatment of Yitongping decoction, Average dysmenorrhea scores of all patients decreased for 164.5 ( P0.001), the total effective rate was 68.7 %; but quantity of catamenia, uterus size and blood serum CA 125 had not changed significantly ( P0.05).ConclusionYitongping is effective for dysmenorrhea patients with adenomyosis that not receiving hysterectomy and hormone treatment.
