Abstract
Introduction: Controversial ambiguity is going on in scientific community whether ovarian endometriotic cysts should be operated before assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedure or not. Generally accepted guidelines say that surgical removal is not an absolute necessity in all cases before an ART procedure. On the other hand, some publications showed that their presence might have an impact on pregnancy in women who had conceived with in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) and embryo-transfer. Moreover, some data showed that they might be influential on the success of each step of the IVF procedure.
