Comparison of clinical effect of different drugs in treatment of endometriosis after laparoscopy operation

Abstract

AIM To evaluate the effect of different drugs in the treatment of stage Ⅲ or stage Ⅳ endometriosis after laparoscopy operation.METHODS The postoperative women were divided into 3 groups: 42 without endocrinal therapy(group A),46 treated with gestrinone(2.5 mg,po,twice a week,group B) and 48 treated with gonadotropin releasing hormone agonist(GnRH a)(3.6 mg,once every 28 d,group C).The remission rate,recurrent rate,pregnancy rate and incidence of adverse drug reactions were compared.RESULTS Two years after laparoscopy,no significant difference was observed in remission rate of symptoms among the 3 groups(P0.05).The recurrent rates of group A was the highest and the recurrent rates of group C was the lowest.There were significant differences in recurrent rates among the 3 groups(P0.05).The pregnancy rate of group B and group C was higher than group A and there was a significant difference(P0.05).CONCLUSION It is necessary for patients with stage Ⅲ or stage Ⅳ endometriosis after laparoscopy operation to consolidate therapy with medication.The pregnancy rate can be improved significantly,and the remission rate can be decreased.
