Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effects and safety of mifepristone and danazol for treating postoperative patients with severe pelvic endometriosis. Methods: 136 severe pelvic endometriosis cases were analyzed retrospectively.Recurrence rate and side effect rate were compared among these groups. Results: The recurrence rate of mifepristone group and danazol group was 3.92% and 10.53%, respectively, which was significantly lower than that of control group (p0.05). The side effect rate of mifepristone group was 3.92%, which was significantly lower than of danazol group 39.47%. Conclusion:The treatment of mifepristone and danazol on postoperative patients with pelvic endometriosis is effective . mifepristone has less side effects than that of danazol.
