Abstract
Objective:To discuss the application value of transumbilical single port laparoscopy in gynecologic operation. Methods:In operation, one 1.5-2cm arc incision was made at the superior border of umbilicus of sixty-one patients, through which one or two 5mm Trocars and one 10mm Trocar were punctured respectively, and then laparoscope and operating apparatus were inserted.Oophorocystectomy, operation for ectopic pregnancy, exploratory operation for sterility and endometriosis, exploration and biopsy for the pelvic cavity tumor, and tubal sterilization were operated routinely. After that the cyst or gestational sac was taken out from 10mm Trocar. Results:The mean time of sixty-one operations was 33min(range from 6min to 60min),and the postoperative hospital stay was 3-5d.No complications occurred, and then the patient got less pain and quicker recovery. Conclusions:Transumbilical single port laparoscopic operation is safe and effective for gynecologic diseases, and achieves more cosmetic results because of no scar on the abdomen wall except the hidden umbilical scar.
