The clinical comparation of Mifepristone with gestrinone after laproscopic conservation surgery in the endometriosis

Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the efficiency and treatment time of mifepristone and gestrinone after in treatment of endometriosis.Methods:69 cases with endometriosis after laproscopic conservation surgery within January 2004 to December 2005 were divided into two groups:Mifepristone group(39 cases,10 mg/qn,po first day after operation,for 6 months)and gestrinone group(30 cases,2.5 mg/biw,first day after operation,for 6 months).Patients' s ymptoms and signs including pelvic pain,and pelvic tenderness were before and after treatment.Side-effects were recorded after treatment.Sex hormone levels were also examined at the same time.Results:37 cases(94.87%,37/39)were finished the efficacy in mifepristone group,and 21 cases(70.0%,21/30)in gestrinone group,χ2=7.83,P0.01,there were significant difference;33 cases were completely relief in mifepristone group(84.62%,33/39),and 26 cases in gestrinone group(86.67%,26/30),χ2=0.1,P0.05,there were no significant difference between mifepristone group and gestrinone group.The level of FSH/LH/PRL were not changes before and after treatment.The level of E2 were both lower and T were both lightly higher,but there were no significant difference between Mifepristone group and gestrinone group.Conclusion:Mifepristone and gestrinone are suitable for treatment of endometriosis after laproscopic conservation surgery.
