Benzimidazole derivatives and their use as GnRH antagonists

Benzimidazole derivatives of general formula (I) are disclosed. These compounds have a GnRH (Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone) antagonist activity. Compounds of formula (I) are useful in the preparation of a medicament for: the treatment, in women, of a condition selected from the list consisting of endometriosis, fibroma, polycystic ovary syndrome, cancer of the breast, cancer of the ovary, cancer of the endometrium and gonadotropic hypophyseal desensitization during medically-assisted procreation protocols the treatment, in men, of benign prostatic hyperplasia and prostate cancer the treatment of precocious male or femal puberty.
