Abstract

Chemokines are a subfamily of soluble cytokine which can chemotract and activate immune cells, and have large biological activities. Recent studies showed that chemokines play certain roles in pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases, AIDS and endometriosis. Chemokines exert their functions by binding to chemokine receptors. In this article, we reviewed the roles of chemokines and chemokine receptors in occurrence and development of endometriosis.
