Management of the pain associated with endometriosis

The pathophysiological basis for endometriosis-associated pain remains unclear up to date although pain is the feature manifestation of endometriosis. Both surgical and medical treatments for the pain related to endometriosis are effective,therefore,it is well accepted that long-term medical treatment combined with multiple modes of therapies for the pain associated with endometriosis individually following laparoscopic surgery should be the choice.
