An education system considering quality and competent faculty undoubtedly enhances the overall success of an institution. Therefore, the study investigates the impact of factors of the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) on faculty engagement by using an adapted scale in Rajasthan, an Indian context. The aim of this research is to discover a descriptive explanation related to vigor, dedication, and absorption and engagement of faculty members. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) was used to evaluate the structural validity of the instruments, and internal consistency was also examined. For this study, the data collected required was secondary data, which was collected from journals and magazines, while primary data was collected from faculty members of Public Universities and Private Universities). However, this study confirms that UWES is valid in Rajasthan's Indian context and is supported by a theoretical framework and discussions. Therefore, Public and Private Universities may take the necessary steps to improve overall engagement among the faculty members.
