Abstract
[Objective] To investigate the influence of two hemostatic methods on ovarian reserve function in treatment of ovarian endometriotic cyst by laparoscopic cystectomy in greater than 35 year-old women.[Methods] From Jan.2007 to Jun.2010,79 patients with single lateral ovarian endometriotic cyst in Yuyao People's Hospital, aged 35 year-old,were divided into two groups randomly,42 of which were in hemostatic suture group(group A) and 37 patients in electric coagulation group(group B) during the operation. The basal sex hormone levels, basal antral follicles, peak systolic blood flow velocity(PSV) and basal ovarian volume were tested before the operation and on the day 3 of the first menstrual cycle after operation and the first menstrual cycle after 6 months operation. The clinical data were compared by self-control study and contrastive study.[Results] Sex hormone:compared with those before operation, follicle stimulating hormone(FSH) of group A at different time points after operation had statistically significance(P 0.05),estradiol(E2) at the 6th month after operation was statistically significance(P 0.05),luteinizing hormone(LH) levels at different time points after operation had no statistical significance(P 0.05),but the data of group B after operation were varied and had statistically significance(P 0.05).Compared between the two groups,E2 levels, the FSH values of group B were higher than those in the group A at different time points, and this was statistically significant(P 0.05),the LH levels at the 6th month after operation were statistically significant(P 0.05).Transvaginal sonography:compared with those before operation, basal antral follicles,PSV,basal ovarian volume of group B were declined more than group A at different time points after operation, the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05).Compared between the two groups, the data of group B were declined more than group A,the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05).The two groups, ovarian reserve had be decreased for 26 cases, the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05).[Conclusion] Both of the two hemostatic methods in laparoscopic cystectomy for ovarian endometriotic cyst have effects on ovarian reserve, especially for electro-coagulation hemostasis.
