The effect of laparoscopic treatment of female infertility

Abstract

Objective To evaluate the results of laparoscopic treatment in women with infertility.Methods Laparo-scopic treatment and pregnancy outcome of 59 infertile women were analyzed retrospectively.Results After laparoscopic operations, the pregnant rates of 34 cases of tubal infertility, 14 endometriosis, and 11 polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) were 31.77%, 35.71% and 54.55% respectively. The total pregnant rate is 37.28% .Conclusions Laparoscopy is an effective treatment for female infertility. Proper selection of surgical indications could decrease the costs and timely postoperative assistent treatments are also the key points of raising the pregnant rate.
