Abstract

Objective To discuss the expression of macrophage migration inhibitory factor(MIF) and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) in endometriosis(Ems) tissues and the correlation between MIF and VEGF.Methods A research is conducted on the protein expressions of MIF and VEGF in 50 cases of EMs organizations with the immunohistochemis-trical SP method. Results The expression of MIF in the eutopic endometrial endometrial was significantly higher than that in the ectopic endometria in endometriosis(P0.05);the expression of MIF in the ectopic endometria in endometriosis was higher than that in the normal endometrium(P0.05);the expression of VEGF in the eutopic endometrial was also significantly higher than that in the ectopic endometria in endometriosis(P0.05);the expression of MIF in the ectopic endometria in endometriosis was higher than that in the normal endometrium(P0.05);so there was a positively correlation between MIF and VEGF.Conclusion The expression of MIF and VEGF in ectopic endometrial was significantly positively correlated, suggesting that MIF and VEGF playing an important role in the growth of ectopic endom.
