The Current Status and Prospect of Endometriosis Treatment

Endometriosis(EM)which is always seen in women of childbearing age is a common and intractable gynecologic disorder characterized by the presence of the functioning endometrial tissue outside the uterine cavity.The incidence of EM is increasing in nation and worldwide.At present,because the medicine therapy consists of hormone and anti-hormone medicine that may have side effects,the best strategy is still surgery,of which celioscope operation is the first priority for EM treatment,however,recrudescence rate is very high.Therefore,therapeutic alliance of medication and surgical treatment becomes the subject of study.This paper makes a panoramic review of the current status of integral medical study on EM both nationwide and worldwide,including Medication,Surgery,Comprehensive Treatment,and the Biological Therapy.
