Abstract

We observed 63 patients with endometrioid ovarian cysts and the presence of reproductive plans, who underwent a two-stage combined treatment: laparoscopic cystectomy followed by anti-relapse therapy taking into account immunohistochemical data (matrix metalloproteinase-9, cyclins B1 and D1, immunohistochemical index). In patients treated with gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonists, the relapse rate was 16.67% and 27.8% of women became pregnant, carried and gave birth of healthy full-term babies. Among patients treated in the postoperative period with dydrogesterone and dienogest, the recurrence rate was 13.6 and 17.39%, and the pregnancy and childbirth rates were 63.6 and 73.9%, respectively. None of the pregnant women had a threatened miscarriage.
