Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effect of reinforcing kidney and activating blood circulation on the relapsed endometrial cyst of ovary(EMCO).Methods The 60 cases involved were randomized into Chinese medicine Xiaoliu Fang(Dissolving mass)treatment group and western medicine Diphereline control group with 30 in each. Both groups were medicated for 6 months to observe the changes of symptoms and signs, size of cyst, level of serum T lymphocyte subsets, relapse and secondary reactions. Results In both groups, the symptoms and signs were remarkably relieved and size of cysts reduced with a total effective rate 86.67% and 80.00% respectively.Of the treatment group, the improvement of CD3,CD4/CD8 and NK cells was superior to that of control group, and the relapse and secondary reactions were less than those of control group(P0.05).Conclusion The treating method of reinforcing kidney and activating blood circulation can significantly relieve the clinical symptoms, reduce the size of cysts, and improve the cell immune function of patients and is one of the effective treatments for endometriosis for its advantage in low relapse and less secondary reactions.
