Uninterrupted data transmission in the presence of network failures is a critical issue in the stability of the overall network. In this paper, the implementation of the OSPF protocol is used to assess the reliability of data transmission in the presence of network failures in the PCN. In this paper, a multi-path network architecture is used to assess the reliability of the network in the presence of link failures. In this network, several routers and switches are used to assess the reliability of the network. In this paper, the network is simulated using the NetSim tool and the results are obtained to assess the reliability of the network in the presence of failures. Several link failures are simulated in the network, and the results are obtained to assess the reliability of the network in the presence of failures. From the results, it is observed that the OSPF protocol ensures uninterrupted communication in the presence of link failures with a minimal reduction in throughput.
