Abstract
Objective:To analyze the clinical characters of rupture of chocolate cyst of ovary,reduce misdiagnosis rate.Methods:Clinical data of 28 cases with rupture of chocolate cyst of ovary were analyzed retrospectively.Results:Cases with rupture of chocolate cyst of ovary accounted for 6.8% of total cases of endometriosis treated by operations in the hospital at the same time.The main clinical characters were menstrual period,the sudden onset of severe lower abdominal pain during pre-menstruation and ovulatory period,accompanied by signs of severe peritoneal irritation,elevations of temperature and leukocyte count,not accompanied by shock and anemia.The misdiagnosis rate was 64%.Conclusion:A correct diagnosis lies in the awareness of medical history,recognition of clinical characters and accessory examinations.Operation must be carried out when the diagnosis is confirmed,drugs after operation is necessary.
