Abstract

Le recours à l’AMP, en tant qu’appel à la médecine biotechnologique, induit des remaniements subjectifs et révèle une disjonction inédite entre le corps et l’organisme. A travers sa technicité, l’AMP modifie le rapport du sujet à son corps qui se réduit à un assemblage d’organes détachables et amène à la « construction » d’un organisme reproducteur. Dans cette configuration, le sujet se confronte à un réel du corps dans ce qui peut se révéler être parfois une expérience désubjectivante. Le sujet en AMP oscille entre illusion de maîtrise et désarroi dans la confrontation à son propre manque. Favorisant parfois la toute-puissance du sujet dans ses revendications et ses droits de jouissance (dans le cas présent celui du « droit à l’enfant ») et dans son refus de la dimension de la contingence, l’AMP exacerbe le clivage entre sexualité et procréation et contribue à une mise en tension identitaire entre maternité et féminité.
