Abstract

Objective:To evaluate the roles of orphanin(OFQ) and prolactin(PRL) in the patients of infertility with endometriosis(EMT).Methods: 29 patients of EMT with infertility(infertility group),32 women with pregnancy in EMT(pregnancy group),23 infertile women without EMT(control group) and 30 health women(normal group) were studied. The concentrations of plasma OFQ and serum PRL were measured by radioimmunoassay. Results:The levels of OFQ and PRL in infertility group were(28.44±6.55)ng·L~(-1) and(42.33±9.92)μg·L~(-1) respectively,In pregnancy group, the level of OFQ and PRL were(18.26±5.13)ng·L~(-1) and(29.32±8.51)μg·L~(-1),the levels of OFQ and PRL in control group were(10.18±3.64)ng·L~(-1) and(18.05±4.77)μg·L~(-1) respectively,in normal group, the levels of OFQ and PRL were (11.35±3.71)ng·L~(-1) and(16.14±4.46)μg·L~(-1) respectively. The levels of plasma OFQ and PRL in infertility and pregnancy group were significantly higher than that in the control group and normal group(P0.01,P0.05),the plasma OFQ and PRL in infertility group increased significantly when compared with the pregnancy group(P0.05).Conclusion: Infertility with endometriosis was associated with OFQ and PRL,the changes of OFQ and PRL levels may play an important role on infertility with endometriosis.
