Abstract
Abstract This systematic review and meta-analysis protocol aims to evaluate clinical outcomes following laparoscopic nerve decompression surgery in patients with neuropathic sciatic pain due to endometriosis involving the sacral plexus and/or sciatic nerve. The review will include studies published between 2000 and 2025 reporting pre- and postoperative data on pain frequency and intensity, quality of life, diagnostic delay, and surgical complications. We expect this review to provide the first quantitative synthesis of outcomes associated with this severe and underdiagnosed condition, helping clarify the effectiveness and safety of nerve-sparing surgical approaches. The results may inform future clinical guidelines and highlight gaps in current evidence
