Abstract
A follow-up observation of 80 patients with adenomyosis and 50 healthy volunteers during 1,5 year showed that small pelvic varicose veins is often observed in patients with functionally active adenomyosis than in healthy women. Treatment with a combination of 30 mkg of ethinylestradiol and 2 mg of dienogest for 9 months does not cause progression of varix dilatation in the small pelvis. Against the background of clinically successful therapy a significant increase of the maximum velocity of venose blood flow on the level of arcuate and parametrium plexuses was observed, it can be considered as positive dynamics of small pelvic varicose veins.
