Abstract
In experiment son 32 guinea pigs the dynamics of changes in the content of histamine, serotonin, catecholamines, heparin, xanthine oxidase in tissues was studied as well as their influence on the healing character of peritoneum damaged during a surgery on the 1 st, 3 rd, 5 th, 7 th, 9 th and 14 th of postoperational period. It is established that the most pronounced inflammatory-necrotizing changes in the damaged peritoneum take place on the 3 rd-5 th day of the post-operational period. It is during this period that in damaged peritoneal tissues the maximum increase in the activity of xanthine oxidase, histamine, serotonin and catecholamines is noted with the prevalence of serotonin influence and with minimal heparin content in these tissues.
