Methods: A total of 100 undergraduate nursing students from the class of 2021 were conveniently divided into an experimental group and a control group, with 50 students in each group. The experimental group implemented the IPE model in experimental teaching management, which included pre-class ideological and political counseling, group responsibility system, reward and punishment mechanisms, and other measures. The control group adopted the traditional experimental teaching management model. Evaluation was conducted using multiple indicators, including students' experimental operation assessment scores, nursing professional self-concept scale scores, teacher ratings of experimental performance, and scores from experimental managers and assistants. Data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 software, with P < 0.05 considered statistically significant. Results: The experimental group significantly outperformed the control group in multiple dimensions, including experimental operation assessment scores, nursing professional self-concept scale scores, and teacher ratings of experimental performance at the end of the semester (P < 0.01). Additionally, the experimental group had significantly fewer deductions in the second half of the semester compared to the control group (P < 0.01). Conclusion: The IPE model significantly enhances students' experimental operation skills, nursing professional self-concept, and professional qualities, and effectively standardizes experimental behaviors. It provides a strong practical basis and innovative ideas for nursing education. Basic Nursing Experimental Teaching Management Ideological and Political Education Model Application Effect Introduction General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized at the National Conference on Ideological and Political Work in Colleges and Universities that "we should adhere to taking moral education as the central link, run ideological and political work through the whole process of education and teaching, and realize whole-process education and all-round education [1] ." The fundamental task of colleges and universities is to cultivate people with moral integrity, and cultivating nursing talents with both ability and political integrity is the core responsibility of nursing teachers in colleges and universities [2] . As the basic core course of the nursing major, the experimental teaching hours of "Fundamentals of Nursing" account for more than half of the total teaching hours. Under the guidance of the new pattern of "big ideological and political education" in curriculum teaching, experimental teaching managers, as the key organizers and participants in nursing education activities, play a decisive role in improving the quality of nursing experimental teaching and cultivating students' comprehensive abilities [3] . This research integrates the educational concept and method of curriculum ideological and political education into each link of the daily management of experimental teaching, subtly cultivates noble moral qualities and good professional qualities of nursing students, and has achieved good results. The specific practical situation is summarized as follows. 1. Subjects and methods 1.1 Research subjects A total of 100 full-time undergraduate nursing students admitted in 2021 were divided into an experimental group and a control group by teaching class using a convenience sampling method, with 50 students in each group. The experimental group consisted of 50 students, including 46 females and 4 males, with an age of (19.12±0.78) years. The control group had 50 students, including 45 females and 5 males, with an age of (18.96±0.56) years. There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups of nursing students in terms of gender, age, college entrance examination scores, etc. (P>0.05), indicating comparability. 1.2 Management methods. 1.2.1 The experimental group carried out experimental management in accordance with the ideological and political education model. The specific practices are as follows: Before the course starts: ① Conduct centralized ideological and political counseling, incorporate ideological and political education into the content, and clarify the emotional goals: cultivate students' professional ethics of being serious, rigorous, diligent, responsible, self-disciplined, and develop professional qualities of being good at communication, willing to cooperate, friendly, caring, and having both medical skills and a compassionate heart. ② Select students to serve as experimental course management assistants, clarify their responsibilities, and cultivate their comprehensive abilities such as communication and management. ③ Establish a student experimental practice system with group responsibility, clarify the responsibilities of group members, and enhance teamwork ability. ④ Improve the management systems for all links, covering attendance, etiquette norms, item management, etc., and display them in the laboratory in the form of pictures and texts to cultivate students' moral qualities of diligence, benevolence, self-discipline, and truth-seeking in the daily management. ⑤ Set up a reward and punishment mechanism, give bonus points or material rewards to those with excellent performance to stimulate students' enthusiasm for participating in all aspects of the experimental course management, deduct points from those who violate the regulations and require them to submit a self-criticism. ⑥ Students submit their thoughts and experiences on ideological and political counseling, establish an electronic file, and at the same time conduct a self-concept scale assessment for nursing majors and record the data. During the course : Strictly manage all aspects of the experiment in accordance with the rules and regulations. The experimental management assistants do a good job in coordination and communication, select and reward outstanding students in stages; promptly educate and guide students who violate the regulations, record them, and require them to submit a self-criticism and file it; randomly select 5 students for heart-to-heart talks [6] during the semester, and record their thoughts and ideological changes; during the mid-term experimental skills assessment, teachers score from multiple aspects such as appearance and the concept of caring for the injured, and enter the scores into the file, and count the assessment results. After the course: Students conduct a self-concept scale assessment again, invite the 5 students interviewed [6] during the semester for another interview and record the results. When the final experimental assessment is carried out, teachers score from multiple aspects such as appearance and the concept of caring for the injured again, and count the final experimental operation assessment results. 1.2.2 The control group carried out experimental management in the traditional way. Carry out experimental management in the traditional way, conduct a self-concept scale assessment in the middle of the semester and after the course, teachers conduct multi-faceted scoring during the mid-term and final assessments, and the experimental managers and assistants score the relevant situations of the class, and calculate the average score of the assessment results. 1.3 Evaluation indicators 1.3.1 Student experimental operation assessment results: Randomly select one item from the basic nursing operations, with a full score of 100 points. Use the scoring standards in the "New Form Textbook for the 14th Five-Year Plan of Medical Planning, Basic Nursing Training Tutorial Based on Clinical Situations" published by the Higher Education Press. 1.3.2 Student self-concept scale assessment results: Adopt the self-concept scale for nursing majors compiled by Arthur [4] , which covers 5 dimensions and 30 items, with a Likert 4-level scoring system. The higher the score, the more positive the professional attitude. The Cronbach's α coefficient of this scale is 0.85. 1.3.3 Teacher scores for experimental assessments : Use a self-made scoring form to score from 5 dimensions such as appearance, the concept of caring for the injured, communication, preparation of items, and return of items. Each dimension is scored from 0 - 10 points, and the higher the score, the better the performance. 1.3.4 Scores by experimental managers and assistants: Score the class's pre-class and post-class item preparation, appearance, discipline, locker handover and cleaning, and hygiene. Deduct 1 point for each non-compliance found. 1.4 Statistical methods Use SPSS 22.0 for data analysis. Quantitative data are analyzed by t-test, and the results of the number of deductions by experimental managers and experimental assistants are analyzed by chi-square test. P < 0.05 is considered statistically significant. 2. Result 2.1Experimental operation assessment scores are shown in Table 1. There was no statistically significant difference in the mid-term examination scores between the experimental group and the control group (P>0.05), while there was a statistically significant difference in the final examination scores between the two groups (P < 0.01). When comparing the mid-term and final examination scores within the group, there was a statistically significant difference in the experimental group (P 0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the initial professional attitude scores between the experimental group and the control group (P>0.05), while the difference was statistically significant at the end of the period (P < 0.01). The differences in the professional attitude scores within the group at the beginning and end of the period were both statistically significant (P < 0.01). During the mid-term stage, there was no significant difference in the concept of caring for the injured and the preparation of supplies and equipment between the experimental group and the control group ( P >0.05), while there were statistically significant differences in appearance, communication ability, and the post-procedure restoration of supplies ( P <0.01). At the end-of-term stage, there were statistically significant differences in the five dimensions of appearance, the humanistic care philosophy, communication, the preparation of supplies and equipment, and the post-procedure restoration of supplies between the experimental group and the control group ( P <0.01), as shown in Table 3. For the experimental group and the control group, during the mid-term and end-of-term stages, there were statistically significant differences in the five dimensions of appearance, the humanistic care philosophy, communication, the preparation of supplies and equipment, and the post-procedure restoration of supplies in the within-group comparison ( P <0.01), as shown in Table 4. In the first half of the semester, there was no significant difference in the number of times of deductions between the experimental group and the control group ( P >0.05). In the second half of the semester, the experimental group had 3 deductions (6%), and the control group had 14 deductions (28%). The difference between the two was statistically significant ( P <0.01). Table 5. Discussion 3.1 The Promoting Effect of the Ideological and Political Education Model on Students' Experimental Operation Skills The comparison results of the mid-term and final exam scores of students in the experimental group and the control group show that the ideological and political education model can effectively improve students' experimental operation skills. The final exam scores of the experimental group are significantly higher than those of the control group, indicating that the effect of this management model becomes more and more obvious after one semester of management. Before the experimental teaching, through the carefully designed pre-class ideological and political tutoring session, students have a deep understanding of the professional connotation of nursing, clarify their own learning goals, and also deeply understand the professional qualities required by the nursing profession, such as caring for patients and being highly responsible. This kind of ideological guidance and inspiration makes students more serious and rigorous in the subsequent experimental operation process, and meticulous in every operation step. The implementation of the group responsibility system allows students to show their respective strengths in the group, cooperate with each other, and jointly complete the experimental tasks. The supporting reward and punishment mechanism is like a "double-edged sword". Rewards stimulate students' enterprising spirit, and punishments also prompt students to reflect on their own deficiencies, thus greatly mobilizing students' learning enthusiasm and effectively promoting the formation of team spirit. In such a positive learning atmosphere, students' skills have been rapidly and significantly improved. 3.2 The Strengthening Effect of the Ideological and Political Education Model on Students' Self - concept of Nursing Profession The evaluation results of the self - concept scale for students in the experimental group and the control group at the beginning and end of the term indicate that the ideological and political education management model is more conducive to enhancing students' self - concept of the nursing profession compared with the traditional experimental management model. By skillfully integrating ideological and political education into the teaching process, students can deeply explore the core connotation of the value of the nursing profession, understand the significance and mission of nursing work from multiple dimensions such as humanistic care and life protection, and then have a clearer understanding of their own career development paths and a stronger sense of confidence in their hearts. This confidence further prompts them to maintain a positive professional attitude in the face of professional learning and future career challenges. Whether it is daily experimental operations or truly engaging in nursing work in the future, they can approach it with a high sense of responsibility and enthusiasm, laying a solid foundation for the smooth development of their future nursing work. 3.3 The Cultivation Effect of the Ideological and Political Education Model on Students' Professional Accomplishments In the scores given by teachers in the experimental assessment for students' appearance, patient - caring concepts, communication, preparation of assessment items, and return of items to their original positions, the final - term scores of students in the experimental group and the control group were significantly higher than their mid - term scores. However, the scores of the experimental group in the five dimensions of the final - term exam were significantly higher than those of the control group. This shows that the ideological and political education management model plays a more positive role in cultivating students' professional accomplishments than the traditional management model. Under the ideological and political education management model, students pay more attention to their own images in actual operations, knowing that a good external appearance is an important manifestation of the professional image of nurses and can give patients a professional and reliable first impression. They care more about patients and integrate humanistic care into every operation detail. For example, when performing nursing operations on patients, they are gentle in their movements and patiently ask about the patients' feelings, fully reflecting respect and care for patients. They have good communication skills, can effectively communicate with patients and their families, patiently listen to their needs and concerns, and give timely responses and comfort, thus establishing a good nurse - patient relationship. They also have standardized operation habits, strictly abide by the nursing operation procedures and aseptic principles, and treat each operation task with a rigorous attitude to ensure the accuracy and safety of the operations and provide high - quality nursing services for patients. 3.4 The Standardizing Effect of the Ideological and Political Education Model on Students' Experimental Behaviors The scoring results of the experimental managers and experimental management assistants for various situations of the experimental group and the control group show that in the second half of the semester, the number of deductions for the experimental group in terms of pre - class item preparation, appearance, classroom discipline, post - class cabinet handover and arrangement, bed unit arrangement, and classroom environmental hygiene was significantly less than that of the control group. This indicates that with the development and penetration of the ideological and political education management model, it can effectively standardize students' experimental behaviors. Through clear rules and regulations, pre - class ideological and political guidance, and guiding education during the process, students can deeply understand and consciously abide by the various requirements of experimental teaching. As a result, they pay more attention to details and self - discipline during the experiment, reducing the occurrence of non - compliant behaviors. At the same time, this model also helps to create a good experimental teaching environment. Students influence and promote each other in a good atmosphere, forming a positive learning atmosphere, providing a strong guarantee for improving the quality of experimental teaching and cultivating students' comprehensive qualities. 4. Conclusion The ultimate value of curriculum ideology and politics lies in putting morality first, taking education of people as the foundation, and promoting the all-round development of students. It emphasizes that all teachers should assume the responsibility of educating people, and all courses should play the role of educating people [5] . This study integrated the ideology and politics education model into the experimental teaching management of Fundamental Nursing, resulting in multiple positive effects. In terms of improving students' experimental operation skills, ideological and political elements can effectively stimulate students' sense of responsibility, thereby prompting them to operate more accurately and proficiently. At the level of enhancing the self-concept of the nursing profession, ideological and political contents such as humanistic care and professionalism guide students to deeply understand the value of the nursing profession and significantly strengthen their professional identity. In terms of professional quality cultivation, ideological and political key points such as professional ethics and teamwork help students develop good professional ethics and master teamwork skills. At the same time, the principles of self-discipline and preciseness emphasized by the ideology and politics education model effectively regulate students' experimental behaviors and create an excellent teaching environment. This study provides new ideas for nursing experimental teaching management, breaks through the limitations of the traditional model, and is of great significance for cultivating nursing talents with both moral integrity and professional ability. In the future, more nursing educators can be promoted to apply this model through carrying out teaching training and organizing experience exchanges. At the same time, continuously optimize the ideology and politics education model, and flexibly adjust the ideology and politics education strategies according to the teaching stages, curriculum content, and students' needs. For example, with the help of information technology means, develop virtual simulation projects deeply integrated with ideological and political elements to enrich the teaching forms and contents. Through persistent efforts, provide strong support for the high-quality development of nursing education and the medical and health undertakings, and cultivate and transport more high-quality nursing talents.
