Abstract

Objective:To explore the expression levels and significance of interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) in patients with endometriosis. Methods:The serum levels of IL-6,TNF-α and VEGF in 46 patients with endometriosis and 46 healthy women were detected by ELISA.Results:The serum levels of IL-6,TNF-α and VEGF in endometriosis group were significantly higher than those in control group(P0.05);in endometriosis group, the serum levels of IL-6,TNF-α and VEGF in Ⅲ~Ⅳ stage were significantly higher than those in Ⅰ~Ⅱ stage(P0.05);the serum levels of IL-6,TNF-α and VEGF in recurrence group were significantly higher than those in non-recurrence group(P0.05).Conclusion:The serum IL-6,TNF-α and VEGF play an important role in genesis and development of endometriosis.
