Abstract

【Objective】To observe the clinical effect of uterine function reserved major uterine wall resection combined with mirena for treatment of severe adenomyosis.【Methods】24 patients of the study group received uterine function reserved major uterine wall resection combined with mirena, and 20 patients of the control group received only uterine function reserved operation. Effect of surgery, postoperative recovery, changes in menstrual flow and CA125 level were comparatively observed and analyzed in two groups. 【Results】All patients in two groups received successful rehabilitation, no significant complications occurred. Changes of general condition and CA125 level in study group improved more obviously 6 months after operation. 【Conclusion】The short-term effect of uterine function reserved major uterine wall resection combined with mirena was significant, the method is safe and worthy to be further researched.
