Abstract
The analysis of antioxidant system (AOS) and lipid peroxidation (LPO) in patients with uncomplicated postoperative period and long-term postoperative pain after gynecological laparotomy. It is revealed that surgery causes the growth of the level of markers LPO and AOS in all operated patients. These results are consistent with the messages of many specialists, also indicating the activation of lipid peroxidation after surgical interventions. In the postoperative period patients with persistent pain with 5 days prescribed physiotherapy: infrared laser on the area of thymus, electrophoresis pantovegin and combined methods. On a background of treatment with the use of laser noted increase the capacity of antioxidant systems – increase of AOS in 1,3 times, which leads to a more effective suppression of excessively activated as a result of surgical stress process of peroxide oxidation of lipids.
