Abstract

BACKGROUND To study the therapeutic effects of of desogestrel and ethinylestradio tablets and estrogen in adolescent dysfunctional uterine bleeding.CASE REPORTS90 cases of adolescent dysfunctional uterine bleeding treated in clinic were selected from January 2005 to June 2010 were divided randomly into treatment group(45 cases) and control group(45 cases).Desogestrel and ethinylestradio tablets was administrated in treatment group and estradiol valerate tablets and medroxyprogesterone acetate tablets in control group,and the therapeutic effects were compared between two groups.The times of controlling and stopping bleeding were superior in treatment group than in control group(P0.01).DISCUSSIONThe therapeutic effect of desogestrel and ethinylestradio tablets for adolescent dysfunctional uterine bleeding is superior than that of traditional estrogen therapy.
