Abstract
Objective To discuss the value of ultrasonography combined with EMAb for diagnosing adenomyosis and hysteromyoma. Methods Transabdominal ultrasonography and transvaginal ultrasonography were performed in 131 patients(61 with adenomyosis and 70 with hysteromyoma).Serum EMAb levels were measured by ELISA.All results were compared with pathological diagnosis after operation. Results The diagnosis coincidence rate of ultrasonography and pathological diagnosis in hysteromyoma patients was higher than that in adenomyosis patients(P0.01).The diagnosis coincidence rate of positive rate of serum EMAb and pathological diagnosis in adenomyosis patients was higher than that in hysteromyoma patients(P0.01).Conclusion The combined use of ultrasonography and EMAb may enhance the diagnosis rate of adenomyosis and hysteromyoma.
