Abstract
Objective To evaluate mini-laparoscopy and conventional laparoscopy for conservative surgery of chronic pelvic pain associated with suspected early-stage endometriosis.Methods Prospective study was formed.We managed 43 patients who were diagnosed as with endometriosis by laparoscopy or pathology with mini-laparoscopy or conventional laparoscopy for conservative surgery.They all accorded with stage Ⅰ and Ⅱ endometriosis of American Society for Reproductive Medicine,evised in 1996(r-AFS).Results Mini-laparoscopy was prior to conventional laparoscopy on intestines recovery and duration after surgery,hospital charge,(P0.05).There were no differences between them about duration of surgery,blood loss or charge of surgery,(P0.05).No complications happened among them.Conclusion Mini-laparoscopy is a viable alternative and safe for conservative surgery of patients with suspected early-stage endometriosis.
