A 3D geomechanical model, incorporating rock heterogeneity and structural surface features, was developed using the Midas GTS NX platform. The mechanical response and reinforcement mechanism were analyzed under natural, heavy rainfall, and seismic conditions through numerical simulation and on-site monitoring. Results indicate that: (1) Under natural conditions, carbon fiber anchor cable reinforcement was associated with a significant improvement in slope stability, as evidenced by an increase in the safety factor from 1.165 to 1.432 and a reduction in critical rock displacement from 2.907 mm to 1.236 mm, indicating effective deformation restraint. (2) Under heavy rainfall conditions, the reinforcement system was observed to mitigate slope instability; the simulations suggested that this effect may be attributed to the restraint of hydraulic infiltration and an enhancement of rock stress, resulting in a reduction of the high-strain zone area from 7.8% to 3.1%. A key limitation was identified in the seepage-stress coupling model, which showed a 15.3% deviation from monitoring data. (3) Under seismic loading, a notable displacement response was observed (peak displacement: 7.232 mm), suggesting that supplementary energy-dissipating measures may be necessary for comprehensive stability enhancement in high-seismic-risk scenarios. The study provides theoretical and practical insights for reinforcing dangerous rock slopes, demonstrating the potential of carbon fiber anchor cables within the scope of the modeled conditions, while also identifying specific areas for future model refinement.. loading using pre-stressed carbon fiber anchor cable reinforcement. A 3D geomechanical model, incorporating rock heterogeneity and structural surface features, was developed using the Midas GTS NX platform. The mechanical response and reinforcement mechanism were analyzed under natural, heavy rainfall, and seismic conditions through numerical simulation and on-site monitoring.\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eResults indicate that: (1) Under natural conditions, carbon fiber anchor cable reinforcement was associated with a significant improvement in slope stability, as evidenced by an increase in the safety factor from 1.165 to 1.432 and a reduction in critical rock displacement from 2.907 mm to 1.236 mm, indicating effective deformation restraint. (2) Under heavy rainfall conditions, the reinforcement system was observed to mitigate slope instability; the simulations suggested that this effect may be attributed to the restraint of hydraulic infiltration and an enhancement of rock stress, resulting in a reduction of the high-strain zone area from 7.8% to 3.1%. A key limitation was identified in the seepage-stress coupling model, which showed a 15.3% deviation from monitoring data. (3) Under seismic loading, a notable displacement response was observed (peak displacement: 7.232 mm), suggesting that supplementary energy-dissipating measures may be necessary for comprehensive stability enhancement in high-seismic-risk scenarios.
