The therapeutic effect of Mifepristone combined with Sanjiezhentong Capsule for endometriosis

Objective To discuss the therapeutic effect of Mifepristone combined with Sanjiezhentong Capsule for endometriosis.Methods 98 endometriosis patients in our department from December 2008 to December 2011 who accepted conservative treatment were divided into two groups randomly,the treatment group 50 cases and the control group 48 cases.Patients in the treatment group were treated with Mifepristone combined with Sanjiezhentong Capsule and which in the control group were treated with Mifepristone only.The clinical effect and serum PGF2a and CA125 were comprised between the two groups.Results Total effective rate in the treatment group were significantly higher than in the control group(P 0.05).There was no difference of the serum PGF2a and CA125 level in the two groups before the treatment(P 0.05).The two factors in the two groups were significantly lower after treatment than before treatment(P 0.01).In comparison with the control group,the serum PGF2a and CA125 levels in the treatment group was significantly lower after the treatment(P 0.05).Conclusion Mifepristone combined with Sanjiezhentong Capsule is a safe and efficient treatment method of endometriosis.
