The clinical efficacy of laparoscopic surgery combined with mifepristone in treatment of endometriosis

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of laparoscopic surgery combined with mifepristone in treatment of endometriosis(EM). Methods Eighty cases of patients with EM admitted to our hospital from Mar 2012 to Oct 2013 were randomly divided into the control group which treated with laparoscopy operation(A group, n=40) and the observation group which treated by operation combined with mifepristone(B group, n=40). The clinical efficacy and adverse events were compared between the groups. Results The effective rate of single group A was 72.5%, while it was 95.0% in group B. The recurrence rate of group B was significantly superior than group A, and group B obviously improved the conception rate, had statistical difference(P 0.05). Conclusion The laparoscopic surgery combined with mifepristone in treatment of EM has good effect and worth clinical promotion.
